Emerald Ash Borer

The Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) is a non-native insect pest that poses a serious threat to the health and preservation of New Jersey's ash tree population. Its presence has now been identified in at least 15 counties, leading New Jersey's Department of Agriculture to declare all ash trees in the state to be at high risk for EAB infestation.

Spotted Lanternfly (SLF), Lycorma delicatula, is an invasive planthopper

that has the potential to greatly impact agricultural crops and hardwood trees. SLF feeds on the plant sap of many different plants including grapevines, maples, black walnut, and other important plants in New Jersey.
